Turning chucks with independent cam movement are four—cam chucks in which each cam can move independently. FORCECHUCK cartridges with independent cam movement are designed for fixing workpieces of complex configuration, asymmetrical and eccentric, with a non-cylindrical shape. They are also used when the axis of the cylindrical surface being processed does not coincide with the axis of the mounting surface (for example, castings, forgings). The independence of the cams allows the cartridges to hold the workpieces with high precision, as it provides controlled centering.
